Incorporating sedimentological observations, hydrogeophysics and conceptual knowledge to constrain 3D numerical heterogeneity models of alluvial systems.

DESCRIPTION: The aims of this project are:

(1) to understand the geomorphological context of each site

(2) to describe the underground structure (facies) of each site (with GPR)

(3) to relate the geomorphological context with the sediment facies

(4) to deduce some rules how the structure of the underground occurs

(5) to develop a methodology to infer the heterogeneity of a site from some observations.
