Research Interests

My research focuses on understanding the nutrient and contaminant dynamics on a molecular scale to a global level. I extensively worked on understanding the redox-dynamic behavior of Fe present in iron(oxyhydr)oxide- and clay- minerals. In the next project, I am interested to understanding the effects of land-use-change on Hg cycling in soils. I am keen on contributing to the field of soil and water research by linking earned skills and scientific knowledge with a strong passion for advocacy of environmental health.
