Research Interests

As an environmental scientist, my general interest includes biogeochemistry and land degradation in semi-arid areas. More specifically I am interested in the influence of degradation on the ecosystems’ carbon balance. I also use high resolution imagery for digital landscape mapping with a focus on dryland vegetation and soil erosion.
